Thanks. But that doesn't matter since she has changed ISP anyway (to
Telia), I did have to call them to get the settings from them since I
lacked login/passwd the rest I got from a friend, or after the connecting
to their server (but of course, I couldn't have done that with ex. Arachne
since SSL was required).
But if I still would have had any need for the info I would think she would
be impressed. ;)

Not that I need that info right now, but sometime someone I know is going
to get a ISP which I don't have the settings for. It would sure beat
sitting in a phone line waiting just to get such elementary info.
Perhaps I should try and reach the Internet from Linux as well, then I can
try myself :)
