Lars (does your name get shortened like this? Sorry if not), if you have
access to an internet connected Linux/Unix box, you can find the
nameservers with nslookup. For spray.se, I just found (snipped for
brevity):
Server: BU.EDU Address: 128.197.27.7
QUESTIONS:
spray.se, type = A, class = IN
ANSWERS:
internet address = 212.78.194.138
AUTHORITY RECORDS:
nameserver = noc.spray.se
nameserver = spraydns.norweb.se
nameserver = ns1.razorfish.com
nameserver = ns2.razorfish.com
ADDITIONAL RECORDS:
-> noc.spray.se
internet address = 212.78.194.254
-> spraydns.norweb.se
internet address = 194.218.252.9
-> ns1.razorfish.com
internet address = 206.64.109.2
-> ns2.razorfish.com
internet address = 206.64.109.59
I wonder if there is a dos version of nslookup. Perhaps in the new WATT-32
distribution...There are also some web pages which will do the nslookup
search for you.
Or, for others, just send me the domain name , and I will do the
nameserver lookup...
Best regards
