There's no better fax program for DOS than BGFax.
The current version is 1.70t.
It is aimed primarily at BBS sysops, but can be used in any setup.
I use it both on 1 machine permanently in "Host Mode" as a fax receive
machine, and on another computer as my Fax Send program.
It can send either pure ascii text, PCL (HP Laser format) or TIFF files.
It is very flexible and very reliable.
