I do not see how you could do it without "reverse engineering" their
software. You would have have to know EXACTLY what Juno expects from
the Windows software, and then you would have to figure out what to
do with the data that Juno sends. I am almost sure it is compressed
in some way as my connect times are very short, even with a large
quantity of messages. Of course you also would have to deal with the
advertisements that come with your mail, and no not simply the little
Juno promotional tagline that it adds to your message, but rather the
extensive graphical ads that display before Juno finishes loading as
well as the ones that display while you are reading your mail. All of
this said, I think if you read the service aggreement that you accept
to receive their service, I would be pretty sure that reverse
engineering their software or otherwise "hacking" their system (even
though your only trying to access their service with different
software, I am sure that is how they would view it) would put you in
violation of the agreement and subject to termination. Of course this
is all speculation though.
