Naw, I once intalled a creative Technologies X1 CDROM into a 286, it came
with a 16bit SCSII and the drivers worked just fine!

The manual said I required Winders, tho.

I bought it from Damark on a hunch and it worked fine.

My mother-in-law would always impress her friends with her multi-media
GEOS 286.  She'd alse use it as a CD Player and had an FM Transmitter,
also purchased from Damark plugged into it that was picked up by her FM
Sereo. It sounded good.
