hi pippi5:
here is how i installed my modem... after about a month in the dark I
realized my mouse was installed on COM1: ... after being told that COM3:
was related to COM1: and COM4: a subset of COM2 ... I set my DIP switches
( those little white on red levers on the back of your tower ) so as to
enable COM2: and then my modem worked like a marm ... I think if you look
in the back of your tower, the settings to enable whatever COM you want
are either on the DIP switches or near them ... I recommend you set those
6 little white switches as to enable COM2: _ ^ v v v v ^ something like
that...maybe ^ ^ v v ^ ^ or whatever__ then I think your internal modem
might work, mine did .. good luck
