I do know a little, about V1.51. After V1.58, the original author was
busted, and then another company took it and re-wrote the entire program.
They called it v4, I think.

It translates ASCII files into fax files, but afaik it doesn't reverse that
operation.
Dunno if that was what you were looking for, but that's what I know.
