Only sorta a survpc at 133MHz! Still, I'm thinking of setting up a box
here under my stereo for this. Was thinking, what if I used an old
harddrive and ganged it via network to my main system, then I could load
mp3s on it (presuming I don't have a burner!)
aw heck, I just gotta find the patchcord and put it through this machine!
Well, it was interesting, and I DO want to wire a computer into the
car. The inverter is what's driving me nuts, they aren't that cheap, and
then dammit, the computer runs on dc 12v anyway! Why not get all the
voltages required directly from your car's fuse box and skip the power supply?
Just clip the connectors off an old busted power supply, splice them onto
the right wires and then splice those into the car's system which supplies
itself all the voltages that a computer uses.
Summer afternoon's project... Hmmm, wonder if I can find a cpu and some RAM
for this damn venturis FX mobo I can't fit into a case?
hmmmmm
