Hello:
Can any of you recommend a good dialer-upper and packet-driver combo
for me to play with?
I am currently using NetDial by Marc S. Ressl with EPPPD.EXE. This
combination I have found very reliable for establishing my internet
connection, and it is very stable in maintaining the connection as
long as I do not encounter memory problems. This combo works just
fine with Bobcat/Lynx and with DOS MICQ and with NetMail DOS
With PC-PINE for DOS, version 3.96, I am having some really bad problems
with running out of memory. This program is notorious for that. I use
NetDial and EPPPD.EXE to establish my connection.
I was thinking that perhaps some other dialer-upper and packet driver
combo might leave me with more memory available before loading PC-PINE.
Suggestions anyone?
