Are you using terminators on T connectors at each end of the cable? 5m is certainly within spec (185m is the max without a repeater). On longer runs, ONE end should be terminated, but for a setup in a single room, that's probably not the problem. A quick and dirty test would be to try another cable and/or terminators. Coax is unforgiving if the cable is damaged, and a good twist can ruin one. Of course, leaving a terminator off can stop you too! > Not quite the right group for this (but if discussions about celebs & > TV-show are OK, then this sure is). I bought a Commodore 16. Well, I had a couple of discussions on this list regarding my old Commodore PET 2000, so I suppose something as modern as a C16 should be OK! - Bob To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
