Sorry to hear you've lost your new job!

That's true. Personally, however, I'd prefer to see ladies find
jobs that make them happy and fulfilled as women, and likewise, for
gentlemen to have jobs that make them men. On the other hand, there
seem to be occupations that don't necessarily favor one or the other
sex -- computer hardware and software could be one of those categories,
in my opinion. The lady from IS at our hospital (who helped me
organize our used computer project) is an excellent example of a lady
who's quite capable in the hardware field and able to work among men
of all ages -- she's even managed to have her first child within this
past year and not miss a beat with her very busy schedule, ongoing
seminar classes, etc...

Or, you might continue learning more about the new systems on your own,
and after you feel more comfortable and confident, you could try out
another similar or computer-related job elsewhere.

And me? I prefer fun to suffering any day, too... ;-)
