That's how I feel.  For awhile, I was interested in programming, too,
and liked BASIC, bought and upgraded PowerBASIC a few time, but did
not write a single program with it because everyone seems to have done
what may have inspired me!  What's left to do?  I keep telling myself
that I'll write something interesting for myself and share it with
friends one day... but that day has not yet arrived.  Perhaps I should
have concentrated my energies (when younger) on ASM, since the fastest
and most efficient programs can be written with it, just as they did
in many of the earlier programs.  I have some books on writing ASM...
who knows...? ;-(

So far, it's just a great hobby with "possibilities"...(?) ;-)
