Nope, it won't.

Did your Amstrad come with RPED (the Roland Perry EDitor)? I think that did
wordwrap, although it wasn't quite as user friendly as EDIT and I don't
think it had any clipboard or searching. Apparently SetEdit is quite a nice
editor, but I've not used it myself.

Another option would be GEM Write, which would require you to install GEM -
and since a full GEM Desktop system would fit on a 360Kb floppy, that
shouldn't present a problem. In fact, I just knocked a quick GEM Write
directory together (all the files required to edit and print files with GEM
Write - I used a VGA driver, you'd need CGA if the Amstrad is the one I'm
thinking of), and I see:

C:\GEMWrite>dir

Volume in drive C is too loud!
 Volume Serial Number is 0924-1E02
 Directory of C:\GEMWrite

. <DIR> 15/10/00 19:21 .
.. <DIR> 15/10/00 19:21 ..

GEM RSC 7,554 20/08/00 19:26 GEM.RSC
GEM EXE 60,416 20/08/00 19:23 gem.exe

WRITE INF 256 11/03/00 21:41 WRITE.INF
GEMWRITE BAT 34 15/10/00 19:25 GEMWRITE.BAT
         8 file(s) 277,984 bytes
         2 dir(s) 9,093.38 MB free

You should find GEM Write very easy to use, what with it being a full GUI
and everything.
