Sorry to bother you folks but there's something possibly fishy here:
At least Jerry' posting to the SurvPC list yesterday, with his version of
the geek attitude vis-a-vis hanging of pictures, came twice; I'm not
sure about more list items, as there was some chaos caused by this
Belgacom ISP I'm using here most for mail.
(Their POP3 server sends single dot-lines in the middle of mail bodies,
which upsets every mail client I know, and sure all of mine; made me lose
some mails too, probably three or four from the list on yesterday
Wed.25th. morning.)
They seem to do some strange re-ordering of mail items at the POP3
server even if nothing had been touched/deleted; all of the sudden I
find items stored there selectively re-ordered - and others downloaded
and delete, reappearing several times.
Since to-day, I'm definitely paranoid about that.
So just to check that out:
Did you observe doublettes coming from the list ?
