I also have a quite good opinion of Fastflip 2.18, it does a good job
as a taskswitcher. In spite of this I had to stop using it: It seems,
it cannot handle large 32bit DOS programmes well enough. I had lots of
crashes with these. Be aware, because as I have heard, the next release
of Arachne will be also 32bit protected mode application.
Since I prefer to use such programmes I shifted to Desqview, which is a
real multitasker and ( so far) haven't had any problem with
multitasking these proggies.


For those who haven't heard the good news: www.chsoft.com offers the
last and latest versions od QEMM, Desqview and Desqview/X for download!
(BTW, IMO DOS coupled with Desqview/X could be the operating
environment desired a.o. by Or some time ago.)
