I have done something similar with Q&A Write for Deskmate. The way I do it,
is to create a 'Label' format of 2-across, 3-across, whatever. Q&A lets you
define the size of the label, how many records per label, spacing, etc. Then,
I run my merge from my Q&A database into it, but redirect the output to a
file, rather than real labels.
The only problem with this, is that it spaces out the records in order,
horizontally, like: Record 1 Record 2 Record 3
Record 4 Record 5 Record 6
...
After the output file is created, then I can go into another wordprocessing
program, load the file, and change the font size, etc.
I don't know if there would be a way to print down one column of labels, with
sequential records, then start back at the top and print the 2nd column of
labels, but there might be.
