Bingo.exe is a dos editor that will work with large files, and prolly
do so faster because the dos os takes up so little of the hardware
resources. IIRC, it comes in both 16 and 32 bit extended mode.
I've only used it on 900k, but see no reason it wouldnt go further.
I do see it do global search and replace in a couple seconds.
