I'm not familiar with these, but I have heard good things about a
Beowulf cluster. See http://www.beowulf.org/howto/howto.html
Just one of about 25,000 hits searching on "+Beowulf +cluster".
Seems like a good fit, as Linux was originally developed for a 386,
and it could allow you to network with some really "heavy iron" -
maybe even a Cray. :-)
I'd like to know how this works out.
