Jerry, I have an original IBM PC, 256 KB memory, in mint condition.
Never used! It is complete in the original packing box and with all
the manuals and software still in the original packing. I bought it
ca. 1994 for $10.00! As I recall it came with DOS version 2.10. I
put it away in a storage garage and I haven't looked at it since. I
don't know the BIOS date. Do you think I might have the Reference
Disk and other info you are seeking? If so please write to me off
list and describe to me *exactly* what it is that you want and I'll
see if I can dig this stuff up for you. In addition to this mint
condition IBM PC I also have others of a later date and also I have
original manuals and software. I would be happy to send you a
diskcopy on a 5.25" 360KB floppy. Alternatively I could zip up all
the files and email the archive to you.
BTW, does anyone think my mint condition IBM PC has now gained some
"collector value"? I bought it strictly as an investment because
I know that antique collectors will pay a high premium price for
something that is in mint condition.
