Yes, you are right, I just checked Usenet, and all I brought up were music newsgroups. My Opera browser is working just fine, though, so apparently it does not require a newsgroup to continue functioning.<g> On a more interesting note, I reformatted the HD on my old IBM 486DX2, which had formerly contained a version of OS/2, which it did not have enough memory to run efficiently, and installed Windows3.11 over DOS6.2, in order that I might have the specified platform to mess around with an old Borland Turbo C++ for Windows IDE that I picked up on eBay for $5.00. Holy Cow!! is that thing fast, and clean!! All I need now is a driver for the generic IDE CD ROM, and I will be all set.
