Hi Jude,

Most unfortunately, i don't. The only ~ISP~ which i knew supported
"Shell" access is `C.A.M.' and that one covers the Montreal area. I did
have that type of account years ago, when Montreal had a FreeNet, but it
was short-lived (the FreeNet); i also subscribed to a BBS where i could
use `Lynx' but it wasn't Unix-like. I finally adopted Sympatico for its
numerous access points throughout the country, that serves me well today
as i happen to have moved outside of Montreal!!! I can think of one BBS
where the users are offered this type of access but i'd confess it would
be quite a far stretch from what i'm ready to consider. It's possible i
might find interresting to take a look at the archives you suggested but
that would be more about getting educated than anything practical... :)
It's also possible that i may be tempted later, if i can assimilate
that concept... Right now, i'm still the BBS type of guy. Howard has a
"Shell" access on the National Capital FreeNet, as i recall. If there's
a person i know who can fully appreciate your suggetion that may be him.
:)
I'm sorry. I'm certain that's a thoughtfull idea you shared but an
other than i may read it and find something which he needed. Who knows.
8-)
Nonetheless, i wish to thank you for the input. Have a nice day!!!
Salutations, :)
