I've seen reports of people screaming about ntscp 6
after 'upgrading' from 4.7, which is what came with
my distro.

The quandry I see is to have a browser that will let
me access all the websites I go to. I dont think I
need the flash crap cause I dont go to look at games
and sex, but I do deal with electronic component and
compunter part/peripheral suppliers pretty often, and
need to have SST for ordering parts.

Does Links have SST?

I've bitched at some of them for loading me up with
flash graphics and shit, and maybe I am not alone cause
I think my suppliers have quit getting worse. But I do
need to look at images of boards and circuits. Will
Links show them to me?

Years ago, Arachne seemed to do ok, but over time, M$
just kept loading up the sites with graphics and then
more links, and it would crash before getting me past
the crap to what I wanted to look at. I dont imagine
that I am very unique in this, there must be millions
of geeks wanting to look thru part lists and catalogs.

A few sites now give me plain html lists of parts that
I can click on if I want to see a thumbnail or photo.
Several more send me paper catalogs in the mail, and I
send about a 1 foot high stack to landfill every few
months. Wish they would clean up their act and websites.
