Ok I did that. and someplace or other, I got a copy of opera for Linux. But dont I also need xwindows if I am going to run the browser? and will Opera expect 'dependancies' to be there, or will it be as complete as Arachne is, and only expect the os to to have ramdisk and ems drivers?
I rather had the impression that basiclinux gave me the linux prompt, but from there on, I was on my own, and I frankly dont have much skill with a Linux cli.
