I suppose the more RAM you have, the longer it takes Netscape
to clog it up.

Very wise.  I don't think any of us trust Netscape.

I suppose a backup is sensible; however, I don't see the link
with Netscape.  I've had numerous Netscape lockups and they have
never damaged unrelated files.  That's Netscape 3.  Perhaps
Netscape 4 has reached new heights of destructiveness?  However,
Netscape 4 is too resource-hungry for most survivor PCs, so most
people on this list should be using 3 rather than 4.
