Something to try. Once you get into dos, run the wake up program from the command line two times and notice what comes up on the screen. This program depending on how it's written could be a switch program not a wake up program, that is, run it once and it toggles the modem on and a second time it toggles the modem off. It may be a good idea to rem the wake up program out of autoexec.bat and reboot the machine. Then run nettamer and see if you can get out.
