Exactly. And as far as I have been able to determine it is not
really compatible with anything. Right now, I'm using it in "bare"
DOS and testing it with a few "smaller" Internet apps.

With this "fake" modem and also a real one, I have also been
testing DOS PPP under FreeDOS. The only incompatabilty I have
found so far is with the uka_ppp nntp program (x_news.exe).
