Funny you should ask.<g>... I already have a 'computing' page set up
for the weblog, it just hasn't appeared yet, because I haven't added
any commentary to it yet.

How I got to the FreeBSD secure server, is that I outgrew both space
and bandwidth allotment, on my previous 'hosted' website... and also,
wanted to start running some on-line services like mysql, php, etc.,
that my hosted site did not make available... so I upgraded to a
virtual server using FreeBSD, with full root privileges (the 'right to
trash' my box, with an errant keystroke<g>), unlimited bandwidth, and
1.5 GIG of HD space... one step short of a dedicated physical machine.

Naturally, this made me paranoid, so I took one of my 'found in the
trash' boxes... an HP Vectra Pentium Pro (amazing the things people
throw out), and loaded FreeBSD 4.8 (stable) into it, so I could use it
as a shadow for my on-line virtual server. This way, I can try stuff
out off-line, before implementing it on-line, where it might risk
bringing down my website, which is my primary source of income.

Once I start having interesting stuff to post to my blog on the topic,
I will post a heads-up here.

Right now, I am still having 'network fun'... trying to get the
various boxes to communicate with each other.

I have a lot to learn.
