I have one. It is the 7502B.
First, the little cooling fan in back, made alot of noise after
a couple of hours. It is a common problem with this unit.
I took it apart and put some good lube in it, and it has
been fine ever since.
Xcdroast dosn't recognize it, but cdrecord does.
It is a reliable unit, except for the noisy cooling fan.
Very good for the price, it burns cheap "blue" cd's without
a problem.
Cdrecord can be a little daunting at first, but there
is a package out there called Create-a-cd, which includes
cdrecord, and has a very nice README which gives examples
for various types of recording.
