Gates wants only one kind of computer user one, who can point and click.
Watch the next time he gives away some money or hardware to your local
library or school.

During the gubernatorial reign of Blanchard(Michigan, USA) he said he
wanted a computer in every class room. My personal response was, if a
person can read, has a good grasp of mathematics he can teach himself
the other things, including how to use a computer.

M$ wants to be the OS of the "unwashed masses" with it "secret
priesthhood" of system administrators.

I don't have kids, but I can imagine the kind of education(I believe in
home schooling) that could be possible using Linux. Take the kid, who
grows up with Windoze and compare him to the one, who grows up using
Linux and all that is available with it.

My two cents,

Bob
