I've been trying to get my printer working for some time now. However
whenever I print something it goes to the queue and sits there. lpq
returns this error and lists the print jobs pending.
waiting for lp to become ready (off line?)
The printer is an HPIII that works great on my 98 laptop, but is failing
on my SuSE 5.3 using a AN430TX MB. I've never used this mb for anything
else to test the ATX LP1 port, however it is new (not used till now) and
I have no other reason to doubt the port.
Any thoughts that could help me get it running would be appreciated.
