As I understand, this means printing is not a module. So forget about my

thatīs interesting. Do these spool dirs exists and how are the rights?

try īps ax|grep lpdī
root@marvin:/var/log > ps ax|grep lpd
265 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/lpd
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ in my case, lpd is running
849 p2 S 0:00 grep lpd
