All,
I tried to install Suse sparc 7.3 on my sparc 5/170/72MB. The follwing
happens:

1. Booting from CD: OK.
2. Partitioning, sometimes fails ("not able to partition disk")
3. If partiiotning is succesful then installing packages starts, after
filling out some questions.
4. Installing silo: OK.
5. Rebooting fails: "Boot disk contains bad executable" or something
similar.

Regarding point 5. Does anybody understand why this is happening?

Apart from this all, it seems that after you booted from CD you need to
eject it; later on in the installation it does not recognise the CD
already being mounted and keeps on asking "insert CD1".

Any briljant ideas?

Regards,
Frank

There are only one kind of mathematicians, those who can count and those who
cannot count.

There are only 10 kinds of people who understand binary: They do or they don't.
