David, Unfortunately the only way to purify it properly and get an absolutely pure product is with distillation. Commercial processors use other screening and filtering processes such as fullers earth which gets rid of some of the gunk but to get it really pure they still need distillation. Unfortunately this type of process really needs to be done on a commercial scale to make it truly viable. B.r., David
