I had the same problem but I know now what the answer is: The cloudiness is
tallow esters. If you filer the stuff through a very fine filter on a cold
day you will clog the filter with what appears to look like glycerine
however, if you put some of the solid extracted from the filter on to your
hand it will melt!
On a hot day your oil will be very clear and on a cold day very cloudy. We
have found that it is Ok to use this up to 100% in a warm climate and with
50% dinodiesel on a cold day.
Don't use 100% cloudy diesel in the winter as you will clog your fuel filter
