I'm also member of the VW Tdi Yahoo Group (and someday would love to own one)
and just posted to the Group asking if the VW Tdi has a cat, and was told it
does. I've replied asking if anyone  has had premature cat failure - and I'll
let the Biofuels Group know what I hear.

Are  you aware that the EPA mandated reduction in sulfur in about '92 (with the
result that lots of injection pumps had o-ring failures due to loss of
lubricity?)
