You didn't get the same answer.

You received an answer that explained that the difference in energies of
reactions - one to combine methanol with a free fatty acid and another to
recombine glycerol with a free fatty acid - are worlds apart.

If that response is not sufficient enough in volume for you and you wish to
know precisely how many words and miles apart the two reactions are, whether
in kilometers or miles, I believe you would serve yourself best by plying
whatever doctors in chemistry you have available who are willing to explain
this while quaffing their favorite beverage. I don't have the capacity to
explain valence electrons,  polar/non-polar solvents or any of the other
nuances that in totality would provide the in-depth explanation that you are
apparently seeking.
