Thank you for the weblinks. We will read in earnest.

I had the opportunity to work in the oil and energy
industry for almost twenty years at many of the big
petroleum companies (you know all of them.  

During my tenure as field rep, I was told we have
ample supply for the next 50 to 100 years - plenty of
time to plan - and find new supply.  I remember
thinking that was not a very long time at all!!  To me
that was not very long time bbecause I think about my
children and grandchildren.
