My dad told the story about one of his collage buddies that got a 3 month old Cadillac for $50, because the previous owner went out to the desert and committed suicide in it, and was not found for many days..
He striped the car down to bare metal, sand blasted the entire thing, and rebuilt it with an all new interior, but, still got rid of the car because the smell remained. Good luck.
