I haven't had much opportunity to work on the problem since my work and home pc both are fine. Last night I was able to reproduce the problem on a laptop I recently reformatted, which was quite annoying, but at least I now have a computer with the problem. I tried the .htaccess file and doesn't help. I haven't had time to explore much with my laptop, but it prompts to either save or open the SVG file. When I try to open it, IE crashes. I tried lowering the security, but that doesn't seem to work either. The SVG is dynamically generated with PHP, and the mime type and header are set accordingly. Like I said, it is only a problem on some computers.
