Even after the fact, I've found that some global replacement of getters and setters and namespaces is usually enough to do the trick. An hour of revision per 50 hours of development time might be a reasonable rule of thumb (total guesswork on my part)-- unless what you're doing is really computationally intensive, in which case you may have to reformulate the algorithmic approach and recalculate how much work is done on the server vs in the browser.
