Well, i don't if the problem you're experiencing is the same as mine, at any
rate, with IE7, ASV seems to work more reliably.
Today for instance i came across an svgz document, embedded in an html page
using EMBED, that displays perfectly with IE7 (WinXP) + ASV 3.03, but it seems
to load only partially when viewed with IE6 SP1 (Win2k) + ASV 3.03. When i
hover with the mouse on the document, i can see in the status line a message
saying "unclosed token: line 1494, column 0".
So, it looks like the document had been downloaded partially.
As ASV version is the same, i am wondering if the problem is with IE or the O/S.

Interestingly enough, the same document displays well under IE6 when viewed off
line, that is not embedded in the html page but downloaded locally.

Also, if i decompress it and i replace the linked document in EMBED with its
svg counterpart, it displays fine.
So, it must be a problem of IE6 + embed + svgz files and/or Win2k. Or at least
so it seems to me.

Bye,
Flavio

I've attempted to search back through the old posts on this group,
and recognized a couple posts that seem to show the same issue, but
there doesn't appear to be any responses to those posts.

So additional information regarding the problem that might help:

The Adobe SVG Viewer seems to still be parsing the entire file, as I
am able to modify nodes that fail to draw and then they draw
partially (if I change the symbol the node is using for instance).
It just doesn't appear to draw the thing completely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Thanks,
  Matt
