Just a few days ago some people told me that there were good Canvas libraries 
that take care of this when I claimed SVG had an advantage here. I don't have 
any experience with Canvas, that's why I asked.

That's of course true. But does it really make a difference in pratice? (SEO is 
not a need for the people I talked with, anyway.)
