Yes it was Arran I tried it all places in the head tag but the intermittent problem was still the same. I will place it back to above the 'Nifty' scripts as they are recommended to be the very last thing before the closing head tag, although this problem still exists if the swjobject code is the last thing there instead.
The weird thing is, I made a similar head tag site a while back, the only difference being the code relating to the actual name of the swish movie and yet that plays fine. That movie was just 3 lines of text with the same fade in, this movie is 5 pictures with the same fade in/out. Thanks for having a look.
