Yes. This is exactly what I was getting at in my last email :)

The expressinstall code:

so.useExpressInstall('expressinstall.swf');

is specific to 1.x, so only use this if you are using the 1.x js library.

Subject: Re: What do I need to do in order to force a Flash player update?

Aran,

Are you aware that Longtail is still distributing the old SWFObject 1.5?
Perhaps that's why the questions continue and their wizard is not updated. I
just downloaded their package yesterday, and this is what I got:

/**
 * SWFObject v1.5: Flash Player detection and embed -
http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/
 *
 * SWFObject is (c) 2007 Geoff Stearns and is released under the MIT License:
 * http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php
 *
 */

Aran, can you simply tell me if I still need this code with SWFObject 2.x, or
is player detection and updating built-in?

so.useExpressInstall('expressinstall.swf');

I'll do my best to communicate with Longtail. To me it makes sense to stay
current on your releases.
