I am not sure if it will fix your issue or not, but you need to modify line
135 in the swfobject.js (in the src folder version).

Here is a link with the mod applied that you can test. If it works for you
then it can be inserted into a minified version of swfobject.js for
deployment on your pages.

Note - This is not an official fix until we investigate, test, and roll it
into a future release, so use at your own risk etc.
