Aran - many thanks for your reply. I had just figured out how to
implement the fix in the src folder version and had already tested
without success. I tried your file just in case I'd missed anything,
but alas no luck.

I'm beginning to think this is a generic FF3 error as in desperation I
have tried a few alternatives to swfobject and they all exhibit the
same problem. This is really getting me down as I've spent many, many
hours trying to find a solution.

I'm going to put together some test pages which aren't based on any
current client work and will post a url if that's ok. Maybe I've done
something incredibly stupid in my coding that someone may pick up.
