Thanks for the reply. I removed the wmode param without any success.
It's now real bare bones and there's not much else I can tweak. I've
also posted this issue on the Mozilla Firefox boards. Fingers crossed.
It's a real shame as this never happened in FF2 where I managed to get
smooth navigation in sites with complex CSS, additional javascript and
some pretty hefty swfs without any problems..

I will keep trying to find a solution. If anyone has one please
provide a link to a working example (preferably commented, but not
necessary). Many thanks.
