To answer your 1) reply..

I did read how to set the size at 100%H/100%W, but this only is
available as part of an html generated page from Flash (Publish
Settings), and all of the code in it which has anything to do with
displaying the swf on the page is written in the html 'head' section
(uneditable for me, as far as I know). And I do not want a 100%H/100%W
all flash page, no, I want to put my swf in a container on my existing
html page. I did try to edit the code from Publish Settings swf only,
and I changed the width="1200" height="400 to 100%/100%, but this
displays a distorted image (a square box) in the div on my page, and
displayed in a browser, worse.

I'm curious, that nowhere in the article you mentioned (I did read)
does it plainly tell you how to make this work.

Can you please give me a step-by-step of sorts, or just edit the
simple sample page (link) I provided? It would be a big plus to have
that reply here for others in my boat to see, I think.

To answer your 2) reply..

The swfobject I am using was installed by Dreamweaver CS5, no less.
This is what I think I should be able to use with some success, as I
am certain most people that use it count on it as-is. I may be wrong,
but I read online that Adobe Dreamweaver uses the modified swfobject
to work seamlessly within their program.

I sincerely appreciate your replies.
