1) You are going to have to modify the code by hand, and not rely on code
generated by the publish settings. The publish settings are just their
for convenience. In Dreamweaver, you have full access to all sections of the
page, so you can edit the head section etc.

I understand you don't want to take up the whole page with your Flash file.
You will need to grasp the basics of how <divs> work, and how css
definitions work to constrain position and size. I don't know what more to
say on this matter other than you want to define your swf at 100% w/h, but
have the parent wrapper <div> constrain the overall size and position on the
page. Try some basic tests where you set the wrapper to a fixed pixel size
and have the swf fill 100% of the div. Move on to a % based wrapper after
you understand how the first use case works...

In regards to scaling - As I said in my last post, you need to pay attention
to the scale modes. Setting the scale param to "showall" should give you
what you want (based on your original description). Read more about the
different modes here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14149.html

2) Ok, cool. The 2.0 version shipped by Adobe is fine (as I said, I just
didn't know where this file came from, or who had modified it)
