I totally agree with you Thomas. Personally I'm looking for a job (and I think I'm not the only one) but still interested about the Swiss Internet scene. I think it's a bad step to try to create an exclusive and elitary club out of the open-minded SwiNOG. I can understand that the organisation of a meeting is not for free and in the actual economic situation even "big companies" think twice before spending a couple of hundred francs. What about a membership fee to cover (or partly cover) the costs of the meetings ? People which are really interested will not have a problem to pay let say 50.-- /Year.
